Located in a magical
private country setting in an area of outstanding natural
beauty, close to the Fowey estuary. The Apple Barn, The

offers a luxury holiday break with absolute privacy, sleeping
up to 4 people in 2 bedrooms.
First reference to the
property appears within a deed of 1476 but little of this
original structure survives today. Additions were added in
the 18th and 21st centuries The latest of these forms the
apple barn, converted to a very high standard in 2006. Adjoining the main house [but with its own
separate entrance] The Apple Barn has been tastefully
furnished and decorated throughout, giving a country living
atmosphere, with a contemporary feel.
The Apple Barn stands in the
middle of 34 acres of its own private land, previously a
small holding but now moving towards a wildlife retreat with valley stream, wetlands, ponds and small
areas of woodland. Guests are welcome to wander through the
valley, orchards and fields.
The Apple Barn is only available for a number of weeks each
year, allowing time for the resident owners to maintain the
quality accommodation in the condition everyone hopes to
find when they arrive.
The Apple Barn is ideal for those who
want to forget the humdrum of modern life, to sit awhile
watching the dragonflies across the ponds, walk in the
fields, or just laze and enjoy. |
